Getting started
›How do I put Kalby on my iPhone's Home Screen?
Open kalby.app in Safari → tap the Share button → Add to Home Screen → Add. Then open Kalby from your Home Screen and sign in.

›How do I put it on my computer?
In Chrome or Edge, open kalby.app and sign in, then click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (or menu → Install). Right-click its taskbar icon → Pin to taskbar.
›How do I invite my partner?
Family → Add to our family → An adult → their email. They get a link that shows how to put Kalby on their phone; they sign in with that address and they're in.
›Can my teenager have their own login?
Yes. Family → tap their name → Give them a login (or turn on They have their own phone when you add them). They see the whole family calendar and can add events to their own lane, but can only change what they added.
Using the calendar
›How do I add something for one of the kids?
Tap + and pick who it's for, or tap their name at the top of their lane → Add event for ….
›How do I move an event to another time?
On a computer, drag it. On a phone (Day view), press and hold it until it lifts, then slide it up or down. Changed your mind? Tap Undo.
›How do I change just one date of a repeating event?
Open that date → Edit → after saving, choose This event only. Or All future events to change it from then on.
›I deleted something by mistake.
Tap Undo in the bar that appears right after deleting (it stays for a few seconds).
›How do birthdays work?
Family → tap someone's color dot → Birthday. It shows on the calendar every year, with their age.
Notifications
›Reminders aren't showing up on my iPhone.
On iPhone, reminders only work in the Home Screen app (see above). Then ☰ → Settings → Notifications → Reminders on this device → turn on and allow notifications → Send a test.
Still nothing? Check that a Focus mode (like Sleep or Do Not Disturb) isn't hiding them.
›What's the morning briefing?
At 7 AM Kalby lists what's on today, and on Sunday at 6 PM it previews the week. Switch either off in Settings → Daily summaries.
Other calendars
›Can my work calendar show up in my lane?
Settings → Linked calendars → Link a calendar and paste the calendar's private iCal (.ics) address. Keep Only new events on if you've already typed that schedule into Kalby.
›Can the school or team calendar show up in my kid's lane?
Yes. Most schools, TeamSnap and GameChanger offer a calendar link (look for “subscribe” or “export”). Settings → Linked calendars → pick the kid's lane → paste the link.
›Can I see Kalby in my iPhone or Google calendar?
Settings → Kalby in your phone's calendar → Add to iPhone or Mac Calendar, or copy the link into Google Calendar (Other calendars → + → From URL).
Your account
›Is my family's calendar private?
Yes. Only the people in your family can see it. No ads, and your information is never sold. See our Privacy Policy.
›How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete my account (at the bottom). The Family Admin can also delete the whole family there.
